LEF Network Azerbaijan project: 3rd trade mission to Baku

From September 23 to 27, as part of the LEF Network Azerbaijan project, the third trade mission to Baku took place. The trip brought together 15 companies from Latvia, Estonia, and Finland, representing various technology industries, with a focus on export development in Azerbaijan, jointly representing the Central Baltic region.

Azerbaijan – A Dynamic Market in the Caucasus

Azerbaijan is one of the most developed countries in the Caucasus, offering increasingly broader opportunities for Central Baltic companies. The Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as the project's lead partner and Latvia as the lead country, actively supports not only Latvian but also Finnish and Estonian companies. This approach strengthens business cooperation and promotes economic growth by increasing exports. The economies of all three countries are closely linked and mutually influence one another.

Strong Cooperation with the Azerbaijani Business Environment

We are proud of the strong partnership established in Azerbaijan with public and private business support organizations, as well as the embassies of all three countries. Among the most important partners are the Caspian Energy Club, the Embassy of Latvia in Azerbaijan, and the Embassy of Estonia. The mission included meetings with leading sector companies such as the Baku Stock Exchange, the Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Association, and the German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

At the forum, each country's technological achievements were presented, and the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry showcased Latvia's competitiveness in IT, FinTech, EdTech, and Biomedicine, emphasizing Latvia's potential and innovations.
