Latvian and Israeli entrepreneurs agree on cooperation

On 5 August 2025, a high-level business networking event was held at the Hotel Kempinski Riga in honour of the official visit of the President of Israel, Isaac Herzog, to Latvia.
The event was opened by moderator Irina Rubincika, Head of the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia in Israel. The President of the State of Israel, Isaac Herzog, and the Latvian Minister of Economy, Viktors Valainis, delivered keynote speeches.
During the event, two important Memoranda of Cooperation were signed:
- Between the Israel Export Institute and the Red Jackets Exporters Association;
- Between the Manufacturers Association of Israel and the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI). The signatories of the Memorandum were Dr. Ron Tomer, President of the Association, and Aigars Rostovskis, President of the LCCI.
The event continued with the businessmen sharing their experience and addressing the audience. Speakers included Janis Oshley (Primeks), Ophir Kariv (Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs), Ieva Jaeger (LIAA) and Dr. Ron Tomer (Israel Manufacturers Association).
Networking and bilateral talks were held at the end of the event, laying a strong foundation for further cooperation between Latvian and Israeli businesses
