LCCI trade mission to the US – new contacts, cooperation and investment opportunities
20.10.2025
This week, the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), together with the Ministry of Economics, the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia and a delegation of Latvian entrepreneurs, went on a trade mission to the US. The main goal of the mission is to establish new contacts, strengthen cooperation with US partners and attract investment in sectors such as defense technology, energy, and information and communication technology.
As part of the mission, on October 14, LCCI board member Katrīna Zariņa met with Alice Slayton Clark, Vice President for Trade and Investment at the US Council for International Business (USCIB), discussing closer cooperation between the two organizations and inviting USCIB to participate in the next LCCI export forum. Latvia and the US have dynamic economic relations, and Latvian entrepreneurs’ interest in the American market continues to grow, especially in niche products with high added value.
The LCCI also represents Latvian entrepreneurs in other activities — meeting with World Bank representatives to discuss opportunities available to Latvian businesses, as well as at the Spotlight Latvia 2026 conference, where board member Katrīna Zariņa is participating in a panel discussion on opportunities for cooperation and development in the Baltic states.
Various networking activities are also taking place during the visit, establishing new contacts and opening the way for Latvian entrepreneurs to the US market.
