This week, on November 4, Brussels hosted the 7th European Parliament of Enterprises (EPE) — the most important European-level business forum, where entrepreneurs themselves have the final say.

The event is organized by EUROCHAMBRES, bringing together more than 700 entrepreneurs from across Europe, who symbolically take the seats of Members of the European Parliament to discuss issues of key importance to entrepreneurship – strengthening the single market, the challenges of decarbonization, European competitiveness, and many others.

Latvia was represented at the forum by the LCCI and a delegation of Latvian entrepreneurs, who actively participated in debates and discussions, expressing the views of Latvian companies on the future of the European economy. During its visit to Brussels, the LCCI signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Bolzano Chamber of Commerce and Industry and its president, Mr. Michl Ebner, agreeing on closer cooperation and the promotion of new opportunities for Latvian entrepreneurs in the European market. The LCCI emphasizes that the presence of Latvian entrepreneurs in Brussels is essential, as it is here that policies are formed that affect the business environment throughout Europe. Being part of this dialogue means being able to defend the interests of Latvian entrepreneurs, strengthen mutual cooperation, and build a competitive, future-oriented European economy.
