Export Awards
The Krišjānis Valdemārs Award “Latvji, brauciet jūriņā!” is presented to a Latvian company with the highest export potential. The nominees, submitted by entrepreneurs, are evaluated by the LCCI Export Council based on the following criteria:
- At least 51% of the company’s share capital is owned by a Latvian resident who exports their goods and/or services to at least five countries worldwide.
- The company has at least five export products, including innovative ones.
- The total export volume of goods and/or services is no less than EUR 700,000.
The “Sprīdīša Award” is granted to a new, innovative Latvian company with significant export potential. The LCCI Export Council selects the winner from the nominated companies, evaluating based on the following criteria: a small business, operating in the Latvian market for around five years, that has achieved 50% export growth or EUR 150,000 in export turnover during its operations.
