From September 25 to 26, representatives of the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) and a delegation of entrepreneurs traveled to Lithuania to strengthen business relations and explore new opportunities for cooperation. During the visit, entrepreneurs met with potential partners and visited Lithuanian companies.

The LCCI works closely with a representative in Lithuania who acts as a bridge between the two countries, helping Latvian entrepreneurs to enter the Lithuanian market more confidently, find reliable partners, and implement joint projects. This is an opportunity not only to expand business, but also to foster trust and friendship between neighboring countries.

During the visit, on September 25, the prestigious Nameja Award was presented for the 15th time at the Latvian Embassy in Lithuania, honoring the most successful Latvian companies in Lithuania and cooperation projects in foreign markets, as well as the best Lithuanian companies as cooperation partners. This tradition symbolizes the close and sustainable partnership between the Latvian and Lithuanian business communities.

    This year’s awards went to:

    • Fastest growth in exports to Lithuania in 2024 – SIA “Brasa Defence Systems”
    • Fastest growth in service exports to Lithuania in 2024 – SIA “Tilts”
    • Most successful Latvian-Lithuanian cooperation project in foreign markets in 2024 – Joint Latvian-Lithuanian Baltic Pavilion at EXPO Osaka
    • Best partner – Lithuanian company: tourism partner Deltatours, trade partner Akmenės cementas, manufacturing partner Trikdis.

The Nameja Award competition is organized by the Latvian Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania in cooperation with the Latvian Embassy in Lithuania and the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

We warmly congratulate the winners of the Nameja Award 2025 and continue to strengthen cooperation between Latvian and Lithuanian entrepreneurs – together we are stronger!
