LCCI Board Member Katrīna Zariņa Re-Approved for Membership in the European Economic and Social Committee
02.06.2025
The EESC is an institutional consultative body of the European Union, which ensures the representation of the various economic and social interests of organised civil society, advising the most important institutions of the European Union – the European Commission, the Council of the European Union and the European Parliament.
The members of the Committee are appointed for a five-year term and act independently, representing the position of their organisation and not that of their national governments.
Congratulations and good luck in advancing issues of economic importance at European level!
