  • Opportunity for Entrepreneurs visit the Minister of Economy Viktors Valainis to Israel

    The Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia invite export-capable Latvian companies operating in the fields of pharmaceuticals, information and communication technologies (ICT), space and aviation technologies, defence technologies, optoelectronics, as well as food and wood processing to apply for participation in the official visit of the Minister of Economy Viktors Valainis to Israel, which will take place from 1 to 4 March 2025.

    The purpose of the visit is to promote bilateral economic relations between Latvia and Israel, to increase exports of Latvian products to Israel and to attract investment. As the security situation in Israel improves, the economy is expected to boom, businesses are increasingly looking for cooperation opportunities in Europe and this is a good time for Latvian businesses to establish new partnerships.

    Preliminary programme of the visit:

    Saturday, 1 March – Arrival in Tel Aviv.

    Sunday, 2 March – seminar “Israel as a target market: business culture, development directions, demand”; visits to Israeli companies.

    Monday, 3 March – Latvia – Israel Business Forum.

    Tuesday, 4 March – end of the programme, departure.
