About project
The project aims to raise awareness among vocational education and training institutions and their staff of their key role in the green transition process. The project focuses on capacity building to link environmental sustainability, the European Green Deal and green skills through the prism of vocational education.
The aim is to provide institutions, academics and young people with the necessary skills and tools to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. The project will develop an online learning platform and a database of resources to help educational institutions adopt more sustainable practices.
Project activities
- Development of GreenVET Framework: Creation and promotion of a conceptual framework linking VET with the Green Transition;
- Community of Practice Establishment: Recruitment and training of GreenVET teams, including a toolkit and action plans for institutions;
- Transnational Training: Organisation of international training sessions to support GreenVET initiatives;
- Online Learning Path Development: Creation of an interactive online platform to guide institutions in implementing sustainable practices;
- GreenVET Database Creation: Development and dissemination of an online resource database to support VET teachers in fostering green competencies.
