Q-Placements

The project was created with the aim of improving the quality of national and international work placements and internships, as well as other types of global training, to improve cooperation between vocational education organizations and companies. As a result, the skills of vocational education trainers and company representatives would be improved, so that they could further provide support and specific guidance to vocational education school trainees throughout their employment.

To achieve the project objective, various activities were carried out:

Needs analysis and research: the current system of internships and cooperation between vocational education organizations and enterprises – in the context of the QA system and EQAVET – was described;

Development of the Q-Placements training methodology;

Organized working groups – train the trainer;

Joint training seminars for trainers from vocational education organizations and entrepreneurs from LV, NL, ES, SL;
Tested acquired skills, in workplaces and internships;

Seminars with the participation of policy makers.

Project results:

Overview of the current quality of vocational education;
Tested methodology and training program for teaching staff of vocational education organizations and enterprises responsible for internships;
Lead trainers in each partner country: trained vocational education teachers and enterprises who have acquired skills to ensure better quality of internships;
Methodological material – guidelines to improve the quality of internships;
Recommendations and proposals for improved procedures, policies, etc.
