Market uncertainties make it risky for SMEs in the Central Baltic region to venture into new export markets. The SME Export Engine project is designed to bolster their competitive edge, foster connections, and boost exports, fueling local economic growth. The initiative aims to enhance the competitiveness of industrial tech SMEs and promote intelligent, eco-friendly solutions. It targets companies specializing in areas like advanced engineering, software, cybersecurity, AI, power systems, electrification, and battery technology.
Project activities
- 4 outgoing trade missions (2 to US and 2 to Canada)
- US expert consultations for CB SMEs
- Canadian expert consultations for CB SMEs
- Export guide development for the SMEs on the relevant market entry information
- Market introduction seminars for companies
- Development of support and promotional materials
Project results
Achieve 20 sales agreements within Canada and the US.
