03.02.2025

On Friday, 20 December, the 90th anniversary celebrations of the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) took place in the ceremonial premises of the House of the Blackheads. This special event was attended by a wide range of guests – the President of the Republic of Latvia, Edgars Rinkēvičs, the Commissioner for Economic Affairs and Productivity of the European Commission, Valdis Dombrovskis, as well as government representatives, a delegation from Eurochambres, the Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry, and guests from the diplomatic corps of various countries. Business people, business partners, colleagues and friends were also present, creating a festive atmosphere and paying tribute to our common achievements and future goals.
Special thanks are due to the staff of the LCCI – both current and former – whose contributions over the years have shaped the organisation into what it is today.
The event was made particularly festive by Maestro Raimonds Pauls, the pride of Latvian culture and music, whose presence and inimitable melodies inspired and thrilled the audience. Together with him, the outstanding Aija Vītoliņa, the Latvian Radio Big Band and the talented drummers created the musical mood of the celebration, giving the evening a real power and sound. Renārs Zeltiņš hosted the event, providing a special atmosphere with his passion and energy.
During the anniversary celebrations, the best entrepreneurs were also honoured by presenting the LTRK Export Awards, the Krišjānis Valdemārs Award “Latvians, Come to the Sea” and the “Sprīdītis Award”, as well as by awarding companies and entrepreneurs for their contribution to the Latvian economy, promotion of modern entrepreneurship, development of the business environment and lifetime contribution.
Thank you to everyone who was with us to celebrate this beautiful anniversary!
