About project

Scalability is a key factor in strengthening the competitiveness of manufacturing companies in the EU region, both locally and globally. It is very important because expanding business means that SMEs will be able to work with more customers, resources and data. By effectively supporting them in this process, EU companies will be able to maintain the quality and overall efficiency of their products or services, as well as their growth and impact on employment.

SKALE2CT partners will focus on the following needs of start-ups and SMEs:

  • Management skills development (consulting and mentoring services for start-ups);
  • Start-up access to specific infrastructure (e.g. for prototyping and testing);
  • Talent management

Project activities

  • Study visits
  • Compilation, analysis and publication of examples of good practice on the Interreg Europe platform
  • Info days
  • Analysis and improvement of policy instruments

Project results

The aim of the SKALE2CT project is to improve the capacity and capabilities of public and business support organizations to improve the business environment, with a particular focus on the ecosystem for start-ups. To this end, a partnership has been formed between a group of public and private organizations with complementary experience and expertise.

The medium-term goal is to promote the retention and sustainable growth of start-ups registered in EU territories. This will contribute to the territorial challenge of becoming an innovation-friendly society and economy.
